Dear Bachelor Springs Homeowner,

Congratulations on the purchase of your new home at Bachelor Springs!  Below is some helpful information with regards to the Bachelor Springs community.

--Access to front gate:  Your garage door opener will open the gate.  The panel access number is #1099. The code for the pedestrian pole, (inside gate on west side) to exit the development is 10990.   
--Trash is your responsibility:  The Association requests that you use Vail Honeywagon since the Association would like to have only one trash truck visiting the property.  Vail Honeywagon can be reached at 970-476-3511.  All trash cans must be kept inside except on the day of pick-up.  You can coordinate with the management company to have your trash can put out in the morning and replaced in the evening for a fee.
--Arrowhead Shuttle:  Door to door service is available to the Arrowhead Lift.  Call 970-949-1938 for pick-up or download the App for mobile phones... Village Connect.
--Interior Maintenance:  General maintenance and repairs within your unit is your responsibility along with maintenance for any other homeowner improvements such as patios and hot tubs.
--Exterior Maintenance:  Snow removal, common area landscaping and other exterior repairs that are in accordance with the Association Declaration are provided by the Association.  Homeowners are responsible for homeowner added exterior modifications including landscaping.
--Insurance:  It is your responsibility to maintain insurance covering personal property, further personal liability insurance in a limit of not less than $500,000 must be maintained by the homeowner, both in accordance with the Association's legal documents.  In addition if the homeowner installs an addition, deck, hot tub, or any such modification to a unit, the homeowner is required to carry property and liability insurance specifically related to such architectural change.  The Bachelor Springs Association maintains replacement insurance on the buildings.  Any upgrades done by a homeowner are covered only up to the value of originally installed property.  Questions regarding the Association's insurance policy should be directed to Meghan Scott at Neil-Garing Insurance at 800-255-6390.  Summary information regarding the Association' insurance coverage is located on the website under General Information-Insurance.  Further information regarding your responsibilities can be found in the Association Declaration.  Upon request the Association may require the homeowner to provide proof of insurance. 
--Architectural Modifications:  ANY exterior modification, including landscaping, must adhere to the Architectural Guidelines included on the website and must be approved by the Bachelor Springs Executive Board.
--Lock Box and Emergency Keys:  Homeowners should contract the Avon Fire Department (970-748-4739) to schedule an appointment to place a key in the lock box for emergencies.  This box is located by the garage.  Remember to change the key in the box when you change the key to your unit.  You are urged to provide a key to the Association's management company for emergency use to avoid unnecessary damage in the event immediate access is required.
--Website:  The website (www.bachelorsprings.com) is maintained for the benefit of the homeowners to provide information about the Association including its governing documents, rules and regulations, contact information, schedule of meetings, minutes of meetings and financials information. You should contact the management company to obtain the user ID and password information. 
--Contact Information:  You should provide the management company with contact information to be included on the website and maintained in the Association's official records.
